We are happy to announce that we have released a new version of our playout software that no longer requires dedicated hardware for IP ASI multicast. Our solution is 100% software based and this is a major step that makes it possible to broadcast multicast in cloud environments in addition to distribution via SRT or HLS.
Our GRIDSHOT® team has daily conversations with our customers about how we can improve certain processes. On top of that, we also know the market well because our technical team works closely with providers and uplink parties for delivering EPG data and TV channels. Based on our market research, it has become clear that it is becoming increasingly important that customers can choose where their playout is; On-premise or in the cloud. In our previous release of our playout software, we already took significant steps to become cloud agnostic. By making our IP multicast solution 100% software based, our playout is even more flexible and cost efficient.
